Horseshoe Bend Special Road District

Formed in 1962, the Horseshoe Bend Special Road District #1 covers all public roads on Horseshoe Bend, as well as Flynn Road and Hidden Acres in Lake Ozark.

Currently, there are about 170 miles in the system.

The roads are Camden County roads, but the district has all maintenance responsibility. Funding is primarily from a tax levy of .35 per hundred. The District also builds and maintains a system of hiking and biking trails. Trails within the Village of Four Seasons are funded by the Village. Existing trails outside the Village have been funded by the Lodge of Four Seasons.

Buckle Up, Phone Down

We are proud to participate in the Buckle UP/Phone DOWN Challenge sponsored by MoDOT.

The challenge is simple: when you get into any vehicle, buckle up your safety belt. If you are a driver, put the cellphone down. Turn it off if you have to.

Every trip, every time!
